Help me understand the difference between what is temporary and what is permanent

And help me prioritize accordingly.

Help me understand the difference between what is genuine and what is superficial

And help me appreciate accordingly.

Help me understand the difference between what is in my hand and what is not in my hand

And help me modify my expectations accordingly.

Help me understand that life is meant to be lived and not to be survived

And help me set my goals accordingly.

Help me seek out peace of mind and not those who would break my mind to pieces

And help me attract the ones who build me and not break me.

Help me understand the difference between love and lust…first in myself and then in others

And help me invest my emotions accordingly.

Help me understand my own value before I go valuing others in my life

And help me uphold my self-worth, first in my own eyes, then in others.

Help me realise that my scars are not reminiscence of pain, but celebrations of my victories

And help me convert this pain to my strength.

Help me understand the difference between who I am, and who they say I am

And help me have the confidence to love myself even when they say not to.

Help me understand that love may come, and love may go, but I should not stop loving myself

And help me prioritize myself before I become unimportant to someone else…
